The gleaming Ruby should adorn
All those who in July are born,
For thus they'll be exempt and free
From lover's doubts and anxiety.

July AstroAlert

Hi Family and Friends,

Remember retrograde? When a planet appears to be moving backwards? Well, this month we will experience two, yes, two planets that are in retrograde!! That old trickster in the sky Mercury and and the Universal rebel, Uranus!

Actually Uranus turned retrograde June 19, so you know doubt have felt this influence already. This Uranus energy wakes you up to how confined you feel, breaks you out of the rut you're in and sets you free. You may feel the need to contribute on a global scale. Uranus encourages you to explore your humanitarianism in a creative and unusual way. This is a great time to express your individuality. With Uranus in retrograde you will find yourself re-doing these things.....expect the unexpected and enjoy this transiting aspect through November!

Those of you that have been receiving my AstoAlerts for awhile may remember when Mercury was in retrograde March of this year?  Well, it is the same old story .....mail will be lost, computers will not back up, and if you are about to sign any contracts read all the fine print and expect to resign something anyway! Anything to do with communication is up for grabs with this aspect July 4 - July 28. Keep in mind the key here is "re"...as in reschedule, repair, return, rewrite, redecorate, replace... you get the idea?

The traditional Gemstone for July is Ruby, but this would be the perfect time to introduce you to another beautiful and luscious red Gemstone.....the Rubellite.

Ruby in its finest form comes from Myanmar also known as Burma...those stones from Thailand, the primary source are brownish red, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Vietnam yield bright red stones and those from India, the USA (North Carolina), Russia, Australia and Norway are dark to opaque. Ruby encourages passion for life,  stimulates the heart and encourages "following ones bliss".

Rubellite is actually a Tourmaline, and when it is red or dark pink in color it is called a Rubellite.  Not as costly as a Ruby or as beautiful but certainly lovely in it own right.  Found in Russia, Madagascar, the USA, Brazil, Myanmar and East Africa.

Rubellite Tourmaline strengthens the will to understand love.

Enjoy July and all its abundance,
Susan
