September Surprises

Dear Friends and Family,

So much to share with you this month......starting with the partial Lunar Eclipse (when the full moon passes through the Earths shadow) on September 7th. The Full Moon will be in the sign of Pisces, usually a peaceful time. When the Moon is in Pisces you will feel dreamy, compassionate and find yourself more spiritual. What strikes me with interest is that Uranus (the planet of freedom, independence and most importantly SURPRISE!) is sharing the same heavenly space with the Moon. No doubt you will find yourself looking back on this time frame and thinking " wow, I wasn't expecting that" or "gee, I just looked up and there she was". However the Moon and Uranus play out in your chart it will be memorable, but keep in mind with Pisces involved it will be a gentle and kind experience, but very unexpected!

September 22 brings a Solar Eclipse (when the Moon is between the Earth and the Sun). Here the New Moon is in Virgo.....the sign of fixing and fussing. You will find yourself helping others, cleaning, troubleshooting, sorting...whew! you will be busy!! September 22 just happens to be the Fall Equinox as well! A time for Thanksgiving.....the end of a delightful summer.....and the beginning of autumn. The Sun is above the equator and the day and night are equal length (12 hours each). So the end of September is the perfect time to get ready for cooler weather. Check the heater, unpack your sweaters and boots, pull the boat out for storage..and with Virgo by your side you will be doing much more!

By now you have read that Pluto is no longer considered a planet...... regardless of this latest development I will continue to read the energy of Pluto in natal as well as transiting charts. Over the years I have seen Pluto's energy play out in my own life as well as others and it definitely has an influence over us here on Earth that can not be denied.

SapphireThe traditional stone for September is Sapphire. Known by most as a cool, majestic blue...Sapphire is also found in many shades of pink, yellow, green and my favorite orange! Good color and quality is found in Myanmar, Sri Lanka and India. Sapphire from Thailand, Australia and Nigeria is dark blue and in some places almost black. Here in our state of Montana a metallic blue is mined. The hardness of Sapphire is a 9 (Diamond is a 10) and makes for a wonderful stone to be worn in a ring or bracelet....a piece of jewelry that can be worn everyday without concern. Sapphire that contains really good color...sort of a cornflower blue is considered rare so the price will reflect that rarity.

Sapphires

Metaphysically speaking, Sapphire is considered to bring joy and peace to its wearer. Also know as a "stone of prosperity", sustaining the gifts of life, fulfilling dreams and desires of the consciousness.

Enjoy the surprises of September,

Susan

P.S .- Dear Readers,
I am now able to email you a copy of your chart....this will make it easier for you to see the planetary aspects in your own chart as I mention them in my newsletters. Just send me a email requesting your chart. If I do not already have your information....please include your name, birth date, city and state, and time. (The time really is necessary in reading a chart.)
